U.S. Navy
As divisional training and administrative lead, I empowered my team with tools and opportunities to succeed in their careers and showcase their expertise to leadership. I also created an enduring program to protect women in the military.

About the U.S. Navy
The U.S. Navy is the naval warfare branch of the United States Armed Forces, responsible for maintaining freedom of the seas and protecting national interests. With a fleet of advanced ships, submarines and aircraft, the Navy plays a critical role in global security, humanitarian efforts and defense operations.

My military experience taught me valuable lessons about life and the world, opening doors I never imagined when I first enlisted. At the time, I wasn’t ready to commit to years of college, nor could I afford the cost. So, I decided to enlist, giving myself time to map my future without accumulating debt. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I've made.
Coalition of Sailors Against Destrucitive Decisions (CSADD)

About CSADD
The Coalition of Sailors Against Destructive Decisions (CSADD) is a peer-to-peer mentorship program implemented across the U.S. Navy. The core idea behind CSADD is simple: Individuals are more likely to listen to advice from their peers rather than their superiors.

CSADD participants encourage positive decision-making and leadership skills by hosting local social networks, facilitating discussions and more.

As a member of the USS America's CSADD communications leadership team, I ensured that DEI&B observances were recognized and celebrated, provided sailors with access to volunteer opportunities while the ship was in port and made sure incoming sailors were indoctrinated into CSADD.
